Just 4 ingredients in less than 20 minutes. Combining dark chocolate and Nutella makes this recipe rich in flavour and texture. Need I say more?
INGREDIENTS 1 cup Nutella
3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
A handful dark chocolate drops or chips 70% cocoa (I used chocolate chips from callebaut)
Decoration (optional)
A handful dark chocolate drops or chips 100% cocoa (I used chocolate drops from Hotel Chocolat)
Sea salt flakes
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.
2. In a large bowl combine the Nutella, flour and egg. Mix everything with a spatula or wooden spoon until combined.
3. Finally add the chocolate chips or chunk (If is desired) until incorporated.
4. Using a small size ice cream scoop spoon (40mm) put dough balls on the baking sheet. Leave at least 3'' (7,5cm) between the cookies, slightly flat them with your fingertips or with the back of the scoop.
5. Bake for 8 minutes or until the cookies are golden in the edges but still soft in the center. Take cookies from the oven and let them to cool on a wire rack.
Decoration:
Meanwhile the cookies are still warm decorate them with a few chocolate drops or chips and sea salt flakes on top.
