Making your own swirled tahini chocolate bark is the most simple thing. You only need 5 ingredients in order to get the most rich and nutty snack.
The topping you can use for this are endless, from dried fruit, peanut butter to mixed seeds.
INGREDIENTS
200g dark chocolate cut into pieces
3 tablespoons tahini sauce
1/2 cup unsalted pistachio unshelled, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Sea salt flakes for garnish
DIRECTIONS
1. Line a tray with parchment paper.
2. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, making sure the water does not touch the bowl. Stir occasionally until the chocolate is melted. Then, retire from heat and spread the melted chocolate over the prepared tray with a pallet knife into a rectangle about 16cm x 25cm and 0.5cm thick.
3. Drop teaspoonfuls of tahini over the melted chocolate. With a knife or toothpick carefully swirl the tahini creating an even swirl pattern. Immediately, sprinkle the pistachios and sesame seeds evenly over the top.
4. Let set at room temperature at least 1 hour before cutting into pieces. If you desire garnish some sea salt flakes on top to intensify the flavours.
